Nowadays transjugular intrahepatic portosystemic stent-shunts (TIPSS) are widely used for the therapy of liver cirrhosis, as diuretically resistant edematous ascitic syndrome and esophageal or gastric varices. Endoprothesis migration to the right heart, pulmonary artery or portal vein is considered to be one of the most threatening TIPSS complications. In those cases endovascular intervention aimed to correct the position of endoprosthesis appears to be most rational strategy.
