The results of conservative treatment of 36 patients with Paget-Schroetter disease (primary subclavian thrombosis) are summarized, there were 15 women and 21 men aged 16 to 56 years. Selective injection offlbri-nolysis activators in conjunction with endovascular interventions was performed. During treatment, vein patency was fully repaired in 18 (50%) patients. Partial repair was attained in 16 patients, 2 patients appeared refractory to the treatment, and 2 patients with critical stenosis of the subclavian vein recognised after throm-bolysis underwent balloon angioplasty. In the short-term postoperative period, 3 patients developed rethrombosis. In the long-term period, there were 2 occasions of rethrombosis in patients with stenosis of the proximo part of the subclavian vein. Direct venous thrombolysis combined with angioplasty is an alternative to surgical treatment.
