REVIEW OF LITERATURE TO THE TREATMENT OF ARTERIAL RESTENOSES

This review analyzes the reported data on the most pressing problem of modern interventional radiology, namely the problem of restenoses after angioplasty and of the possibilities of their treatment. Reverberates the basic methods for the treatment of restenosis based on biological approaches. Describes the principles and mechanisms of the medical action of intravascular sonotherapy, cryotherapy, photoangi oplasty , and soft rays. Presents the results of the multi-center clinical trials which have demonstrated that the methods based on biological approaches are effective and promising.
