The ninth Annual Meeting of the European Venous Forum was held in Barcelona (Spain) from the 26th to the 28th of June 2008. The participants have discussed a wide range of phlebology topical issues: diagnosis and therapy of venous thromboses, diagnosis of chronic venous disease, surgical (including endovascular) management of variceal disease, sclerotherapy, compression and medical therapy of venous diseases.
